2-Ethylhexanol
2-EH is generally used in the manufacture of plasticizers for PVC resins. Other uses include organic synthesis; solvent mixtures for nitrocellulose, paints, laquers, baking finishes; textile finishing compounds; inks; rubber; paper; lubricants and defoaming agents.
